Garn began his journey as a studio photographer in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2013, he moved to the Bay Area, California — a new chapter that shaped not only his life, but also his perspective behind the lens.
Life took him through different paths. For nearly a decade, he worked in the restaurant industry — a time that slowed his photography career, but never his passion. Even during those years, people continued to ask him to capture their moments. The camera was never truly set aside.
After leaving the restaurant world, Garn stepped into tour guiding and now works as a private caregiver — roles that deepened his understanding of people, stories, and human connection. Those experiences are now reflected in his photography.
Garn is easygoing, friendly, and brings positive energy to every shoot. He loves travel, natural light, candid emotion, and creating images that feel alive and honest.
Today, GARNPHOTOGRAPHY marks a return — not just to photography, but to a passion that has always been part of who he is.
